I am not sure if this is premature or not but here goes. I only have 10 followers and I don't get many comments (which may be because I was set on no-reply blogger), never the less, thank you. Thank you to those who are following
The Quilting Diaries. Thank you to those who just stop by every now and then. Last but not least, thank you to those who stop and leave because you may not be interested. The later of you are thanked because even though you may not stay, my viewer numbers go up and I tell myself its because you may like
The Quilting Diaries a little. That may sound silly and desperate to some but it encourages me to keep posting and not to shut it down any time soon.
So simply put
Thank You
Hi, I stumbled here from I am not sure where. Love your quilt below. I regard to your charity quilt I think the size depends on you but a good snuggle size I would go for. There are so many wonderful quilt styles.
ReplyDeleteCheck out Flickr......lots to drool over there.
Thanks. I will check out flicker. Thanks for stumbling upon my space.
DeleteKeep posting, Shankevia! In my brief time as a blogger I've noticed that the more comments I leave for folks on their blog, the more they will comment on my blog. I think it may be some unwritten rule or just people's curiosity to find out who is commenting on their blog.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the encouragement. I will head your advice.
DeleteNicole is right...keep checking out other blogs and leaving comments. It's how you'll get to know other people, make connections, and grow yourself. My parents always remind me to never be driven by my sewing or blogging, but to do what I love because I love it. You never want to let the fun get out of it.
ReplyDeleteThanks Heidi. I do love quilting and sharing with you guys. Thanks for the encouragement.
DeletePS. did you get my e-mail?
Just discovered your blog and book marked it. Your son and his super hero quilt are adorable. Hang in there, your followers and your stash will grow!
ReplyDeleteThanks for dropping by and the support.
ReplyDeleteKeep posting pictures of your work. That is what attracted me to follow you. Don't stop blogging. Even if you think you are only documenting your progress on your projects. We are still out here reading and following.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the support. I hope this post didn't come off as a sad cry. I really just wanted to thank followers like you and everyone who stops by.
ReplyDeleteI love finding new blogs to read! I really like your son's superhero quilt too - I know my husband wants one... I just don't know that it would go with the rest of the...house ;)
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by. I love your blog also.He can save it for his man room when the kids move out like on Failure to Launch.
